_________________________________________________________________ Seekonk Public Library News 4.12 Wednesday, December 7th 2005 A monthly newsletter about the Seekonk Public Library http://www.seekonkpl.org news@seekonkpl.org Greetings from Sharon E. St. Hilaire, Director: WiFi is up and running at the Seekonk Public Library. You must have a valid library card to log on to the network. More changes will be coming in 2006,thanks to a grant from the Bristol County Commissioners. New public laptop computers will be replacing our Pentium II machines and you will be able to use them anywhere in the building. We are also going to be doing demonstrations of how to use our downloadable audiobooks on your computer or mp3 player. Last but not least, we say goodbye to Judith Plotz, staff librarian. Judith is retiring after serving over 15 years as a librarian. She has done everything from storytimes to computer classes. Most of the newspaper articles you have read, have been written by her. We wish her much happiness in her retirement. ***************************************************************** Just a reminder that it is not too late to send in a donation to the Seekonk Library Trust.
