What is RSS?
RSS is an easy way for you to receive news from the Seekonk Public Library website automatically as we update our site. Updates are sent to a news reader instead of your email.
How do I get a news reader?
There are several free news readers available. Many function like an email program. Different news readers work on different operating systems, so you will need to take this into account when you make your choice.
The most popular news reader programs are Newsgator, RSS Reader and SharpReader.
You can also go to Google and search for "RSS News Readers"
to see a list of other programs.
Once you select a news reader, click one of the orange XML boxes below to go to the feed for that particular page. Copy the URL (the text in the address bar of the new window) and paste it into your news reader program.
