Thursday, January 16 at 3:00 PM – It’s time to take on AI again, and this time we’re going to show it who’s boss! Using a machine learning model, we’ll input training data into the Google app Teachable Machine. With enough training data, we can teach this AI app to learn the difference between apples and oranges, between M&Ms and Hershey’s Kisses, and even to recognize speech! This is a fun, easy introduction to the concept of machine learning models and an exploration of how we can make AI work for us.
This 1-hour event is free and open to tweens and teens in grades 6 through 12. Registration is required.
