Thursday, April 23 at 3:00 PM – The picture captured in a photo is made up of curves, edges, and shades of color, all intricately mingled to create a lifelike image. If we untangle some of these elements and highlight the lines, the contours, the contrast of light and shadows, we just might see a work of art revealed in our own unique and striking faces. In this workshop, you’ll learn some simple digital photo editing techniques and create your own abstract self-portrait using a Silhouette Cameo cutting machine. **Note: Participants are encouraged to bring their own Windows or Mac laptop if they have one (Chromebooks not recommended). No specific software is required.
This 1-hour event is free and open to grades 6 through 12. Space is limited and registration is required at seekonkpl.org/events.
